Hi, I’m Louise – welcome to my corner of the chaos!
I’m a mum to one very wonderful, wildly sassy, and determined little girl who keeps me on my toes (and my coffee intake dangerously high).
I’m just an ‘ordinary’ mum with a big dream: to create a space where we can be real about motherhood—because let’s face it, it’s the most beautiful, bonkers, and life-altering ride there is.
Before becoming a mum, I had no idea how much life would shift. I mean, I expected change—but this? This is a whole new era. An era of cold cups of coffee (or tea!), emotional rollercoasters, fierce love, and the kind of multitasking that deserves an Olympic medal. The mum juggle is very real, and let’s be honest: we’re basically superheroes disguised in activewear.
Coming up with a name for this space was like naming another child (but with less sleep and more domain checking). In the end, I wanted something that captured the heart of this new chapter—a place to connect, to laugh, to cry (sometimes at the same time), and to say, “Yep, me too.”
And if you’re here as an expectant mum, about to embark on this wild adventure—firstly, congratulations! Secondly, fair warning: there are some real, unfiltered moments in here and you’ll need to bear with my slightly dry, occasionally sarcastic sense of humour. But please know this: nothing can truly prepare you for the overwhelming, heart-bursting love you’ll feel when you meet your little bundle for the first time. It’s magic. Exhausting, messy magic—but magic all the same.
So whether you’re deep in the trenches, daydreaming with a bump, or just here for a virtual hug—welcome. This is for you, for us, and for this crazy-beautiful season we’re all trying to navigate one step or snack at a time.
